Showers of Blessings

Today my head hit the pillow at 5:45 am after a usual night of work, at 9:15 my cell phone rang... Right on schedule! I had told a friend, Harry whom I had called to house the touring cyclist Bill, which God had put in my path, to call me when Bill was ready to ride out of town. So jumping up and wiping the 3 hr sleep out of my eyes, I hit the road. Bill was near ready to leave Harry's house, so I headed to Tim Horton's for a Coffee and an eye opener! As I stood in line, the man in front of me spun around and gave me a surprise hug!! (A joy for anyone) I am a hugger, so its nice to get one back here and there! The man proclaimed, "Your John!" To which I said yes! And you are? After exchanging intros... The man said these words, "I was in that funeral chapel yesterday when you addressed those people and brother, you hit the nail on the head!" Stunned I was indeed, I told him to call me and we would have lunch soon, walking to the car and driving to get my bicycle to escort Bill out of town, My short nights sleep faded and I felt fully rested and my heart and eyes cried as I could literally feel HIS showers raining down on US His Children... Meeting Bill at the office, I grabbed a bike and together we rode to Bethlyhem where I bid him farewell in word and prayer and as I rode back to my car alone, I KNEW that each and every raindrop which pounded my body represented the amazing people God has brought into my life, some like Bill ever so briefly, but ALL forever stamped on my heart as HIS, My Blessed Redeemer's Gifts of Eternal Showers of Blessings... LET HIM RAIN ON YOU, LET PEOPLE INTO YOUR LIFE and GIVE THEM YOUR HEART OF GOD"S UNBRIDLED RICHES.. The Love in You is not yours, it is HIS and it belongs rained down on mankind.... Ezekiel 34:26 I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.
